My Crypto Server is sold once, per version line. No subscriptions, no renewals, no surprises. Here is exactly what you get and what happens when a new major version ships.
We're currently shipping version 1.x. Your purchase includes every release in the v1 line — 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and so on, all the way to the end of v1. That means bug fixes, security patches, new chains, and new features land in your inbox at no extra cost, for as long as we keep building v1.
Plenty of products promise lifetime updates and quietly stop shipping. We'd rather be honest: your license covers the v1 line, not an infinite future. When the work justifies a ground-up rebuild, we version it as v2 and price it separately — so the people who want it fund it, and everyone else keeps what they paid for.
If and when we ship v2 — a significant re-architecture, not a routine update — it will be a new, optional product at a new price. You are never forced to upgrade. v1 license holders may get a loyalty discount, but v2 is not included in a v1 license.
There is no remote kill switch and no license server phoning home. The source is on your servers. Even if you never install another update, your deployment keeps working indefinitely — long after v2 exists, if you choose to stay on v1.
A license is for a single business or owner, but you may self-host it on as many servers and for as many of your own stores and projects as you like. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, deploy it on behalf of clients, or offer it as a SaaS — each business that runs it needs its own license.
